"My compositions acknowledge the dreams, memories and moments that shade every experience.”

Nancy L Greco is an American visual artist born and raised in Connecticut. She attended Southern Connecticut State University, Wesleyan University and the Ohio State University where she earned her Master of Fine Arts.

While working on her Master of Fine Arts, she received a Ford Foundation Grant to research the etching and printing of her finely rendered lithographs. After graduating, she received two grants from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts - an Individual Artist's Grant to create a suite of seven large drawings Dreams and a Visiting Artist's Grant for Lithography workshops for educators and students. In 1982, Greco held two solo exhibitions of her drawings and lithographs – Surreal Drawings and Lithographs at the Martin Sumers Gallery on 57th Street in New York City and Dreams at the New Britain Museum of American Art in New Britain, Connecticut. Early awards for her drawings, lithographs and paintings include the First Award in the Pratt Graphics 6th International Miniature Print Exhibition in NYC, and a First Place in The Connecticut Women Artists Open Juried Exhibition.

Greco has continued to win awards in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York State. She has had solo exhibitions across Connecticut and at the Trustman Art Gallery at Simmons University in Boston, MA. Her most recent pieces have won awards in the Connecticut Women Artists National Juried Open Exhibitions, the Salon de Litchfield, and the Gallery on the Green, Canton, CT. “Inner Gallery” was juried into the “Castles in the Sky” exhibition at The HillStead Museum in  Farmington, CT.

Her ongoing exploration of spatial concepts is evident in recent exhibitions at Gallery on the Green, with “Contemplating Space” and “Perceived Boundary”. Each piece offers glimpses into her developing suite, “Boundaries” - a continued investigation into the nature of limits and thresholds. In 2026, the Pegasus Gallery & Niche was the venue for Greco’s solo show Recurrence at Connecticut Community College in Middletown, CT.

Greco's artistic vision extends beyond the gallery walls, as her evocative drawings and paintings have found another expressive outlet, gracing the album artwork of Lore City's Alchemical Task and Participation Mystique, further showcasing the depth and versatility of her visual language.

Nancy L Greco currently lives and makes art in Connecticut.
